Pre-Qualify Now
If you are looking to get a loan, or you are buying a home, then it would be a good idea to get pre-qualified or pre-approved for your loan before hitting the market. Some sellers or seller's agents will not accept an offer without the buyer being pre-qualified, especially if there is competition for their home.

It will also give you a good idea on how much you can spend on a house before you start your search.
